The Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program at AFRC is a comprehensive recovery program that serves children and adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness. The program provides individual and group therapy for those individuals with a functional deficit in the areas of independent living, social, pre- vocational skills. This program is intended to restore client’s skills and abilities essential for daily living skills. The services are designed to assist individuals to restore deficits through the implementation of interventions such as role play, psychoeducation, and teaching. These services may be provided at home, community or office settings to promote stability, independence, and emotional growth through the development of life skills, self-awareness, and adherence to treatment for the re-integration into community life.
